On-Campus Housing

Clark Atlanta University offers a variety of on-campus housing options for students.

First Year Housing

These are traditional-style residence halls located on the main campus in proximity to classrooms and other facilities frequented by the students. The rooms are climate controlled with double occupancy and are furnished with twin beds, desks, dressers, and wardrobes. These residence halls are equipped with two community bathrooms on each floor with private showers. Mailboxes are located in the main campus post office. Pets of all types are prohibited.

Holmes, Merner, and Pfeiffer Halls

Holmes, Merner, and Pfeiffer Halls (The Panther Platinum meal plan is required for all freshman residents.) These are traditional-style residence halls located on the main campus in proximity to classrooms and other facilities frequented by the students. The rooms are climate controlled with double occupancy and are furnished with twin beds, desks, dressers, and wardrobes. These residence halls are equipped with two community bathrooms on each floor with private showers. Mailboxes are located in the main campus post office. Pets of all types are prohibited.

Beckwith Hall - Men

This is a suite-style residence hall (two rooms adjoined by a bathroom), which houses a variety of first-year and continuing students.

These rooms are double occupancy and are furnished with twin beds, desks, nightstand, and closets; the building is also air-conditioned.

The building is air-conditioned. The Platinum Unlimited Meal Plan is required for all freshman residents housed in the residence hall. Mailboxes are located in the hall. Pets of all types are prohibited. Singles can be requested after enrollment ends, if space is available.

Upperclassmen Housing

Brawley Hall – Co-Ed

Brawley is an apartment-style, air-conditioned residence hall that houses transfer, upperclassmen and CAU scholarship students. Each apartment ranges from four, five or six private bedrooms and a shared common area, bathroom and full kitchen. Bedrooms are furnished with a bed, dresser, desk, chair, and wardrobe. Room dimensions and furnishings vary by apartment. All on-campus students are required to have a meal plan. Pets of all types are prohibited.
