Through the Hub, our students participate in funded research projects in AI, cancer biology, and policy labs. They have secured fellowships and internships with Fortune 500 companies and tech accelerators and compete for new business pitches and scientific solutions at national innovation forums.

Robert H. “Bob” Bell Center for Innovation and Entrepreneurial Development (CIED)
CIED is the engine of student entrepreneurship at CAU. With access to prototyping tools, 3D printing labs, e-sports studios, and startup support, students gain hands-on experience turning ideas into ventures.

HBCU CHIPS Semiconductor Research Network
As the lead institution on a $2M NSF-funded initiative, CAU is helping to build a national microelectronics workforce by supporting HBCU-led research and student training in chip design and fabrication.

AI Hub @ CAU
CAU received a $2.79M NSF grant to establish the Artificial Intelligence Hub focused on ethical AI, optimization, and cybersecurity. Partnering with Georgia Tech, the Hub creates research pipelines and student pathways into emerging tech fields.
