Clark Atlanta University (CAU), the first Historically Black College and University (HBCU) in the southern United States, and IHG Hotels & Resorts (IHG), one of the world’s leading hotel companies, hosted an event earlier this month highlighting the importance of corporate HBCU partnerships to support student success. Together with CAU students and leaders, IHG announced it would again renew its commitment to CAU as a Premier Corporate Partner for 2024 and unveiled a renovated student lounge at the School of Business.

As part of the agenda, CAU will unveil a renovated student lounge, funded by IHG, which has been reimagined with hospitality design signatures for a more enriched lounge experience. Clark Atlanta University’s School of Business was recently selected as the 2023 National Black MBA Association’s (NBMBAA) Collegiate Partner of the Year. This award is given yearly to higher-education institutions that provide exemplary academic efforts to increase awareness and opportunities for business administration students and members. The award was presented at the NBMBAA Conference in Philadelphia on September 16, 2023.
