Alumni Appreciation Night is a celebratory game day experience honoring CAU alumni through connection, pride, and Panther spirit. The evening begins with an Alumni Appreciation Mixer from 5:00 PM to 6:30 PM in the trailer formerly housing the Office of Alumni Relations and Engagement, providing space for fellowship and reconnection. At 6:30 PM, alumni transition to the gymnasium for CAU Basketball with reserved seating. Throughout the game, roaming photo booths capture moments from alumni and students, and a special halftime activation highlights the Office of Alumni Relations and Engagement. This experience is designed to celebrate alumni impact, strengthen engagement, and create meaningful touchpoints for staying connected to Clark Atlanta University.
"For the Love of CAU Athletics" is a premier annual dinner and fundraiser initiated in 2021 by the CAU Players Association and alumni to support student-athletes. Held annually around February, it raises funds, increases engagement, and showcases the athletic department's vision to alumni.
The Spirit of Greatness Gala is a premier annual fundraising event at Clark Atlanta University (CAU) that brings together alumni, supporters, and friends to raise funds for student scholarships and university initiatives. The black-tie affair features the "Pathways to Excellence" awards, honoring distinguished alumni and leaders who exemplify the legacy of CAU, its parent institutions (Atlanta University and Clark College), and service.
