All enrolled students may purchase a parking permit. Any student vehicle parked in any designated CAU parking lot is required to have a permit/decal.
Student online parking registration for Fall 2026 opens on August 5, 2026 – see the info below. All major credits are accepted. Once your purchase is completed, you must visit the parking office with your campus I.D. (PAW Card) to receive your parking decal on or after August 12, 2026 (M-F, 9am-5pm).
Note: Summer parking permits are only valid for the Summer semester ONLY. You will need to purchase a new decal for the Fall 2026 semester.
Parking Fees/Locations
Note: Parking is assigned based on your residence hall and availability. Choose the lot listed below based on your housing assignment.

Students must pay by the semester. Fees for permits are due at the time of registration. We currently accept all major credit/debit cards. A $5.50 reservation fee will apply.
Game Day/Special Events:
Special events on campus—such as campus activations, external rentals, home football and basketball games, graduation ceremonies, and homecoming events—can affect campus parking availability. During these times, parking may be reallocated to accommodate the event. Faculty, staff, and student permit holders may be temporarily relocated. Unless otherwise directed, all visitors and special guests of the University will be relocated to the Visitors Parking Deck at no charge. Facility projects could also require relocation of permitted parkers. Advanced notice will be provided to the affected permitted parkers regarding the relocation.
CAU Parking may remove, impound, or immobilize at the owners’ expense vehicles violating this regulation.
**Towing and storage fees are the responsibility of the owner/driver of the vehicle, not Clark Atlanta University.
