Bio: Dr. Ikone T. Mason is a counselor educator, licensed professional school counselor, and therapist with over a decade of experience supporting diverse student populations. He currently serves as an adjunct professor at Mercer University and New York University, teaching graduate-level counseling courses. Dr. Mason’s research focuses on Black male student success, school counselor burnout, and mental health outcomes among students of color. He has extensive K–12 counseling experience, providing academic, social-emotional, and college readiness support. A published scholar and conference presenter, Dr. Mason is committed to advancing equity in education and promoting culturally responsive counseling practices
