Bio: Dr. Chike Akua is an accomplished educational scholar, consultant, and author specializing in culturally relevant pedagogy and education equity. He earned his Ph.D. in Educational Policy Studies from Georgia State University, along with degrees from Clark Atlanta University and Hampton University. With decades of experience as a teacher, instructional leader, and national consultant, Dr. Akua has delivered professional development across urban school districts nationwide. His work centers on improving academic outcomes for African American students and students of color. A published author and frequent keynote speaker, he is widely recognized for advancing transformative, culturally responsive educational practices.
