How do I get my work exhibited at CAUAM?
All work exhibited at the museum is selected by curators for specific exhibitions. If an artist wishes to introduce their work to the curators they can send an email to artmuseum@cau.edu containing samples of their work, a résumé and contact information for review by the CAUAM curatorial team.
Can I rent the facilities for personal art exhibition, event, or club activity?
No. The Art Museum is not available to be rented for personal art exhibitions, events, or club activities.
Are group/class tours available?
Yes, please follow the link below to request a tour for your group/organization or school.
How can I get my work into the Collection?
The CAUAM accepts items into the Collection on recommendation of its Acquisitions Committee. The object can be acquired by various means including (but not limited to) gift, grant, deed, or purchase.
Is there secure parking?
Yes. Recommended parking is located at 151 Mildred Street, Atlanta, GA 30314 at the CAU parking deck. Parking can cost up to $5.
Is there street parking?
Yes, however we recommend parking in the secure CAU Parking deck.
Is work for sale at the Museum?
No, the work is not for sale.
When is the Museum open?
The Museum is open Tuesday – Friday, 11 am – 4pm and by appointment.
How much is admission to the Museum?
CAUAM is a free museum; however, there is a suggested donation $3 per person.
Are there bike racks near the museum?
Yes, there are bike rack near the museums. Proper equipment to secure your bike is recommended.
Are all CAUAM exhibitions appropriate for children to view?
No. Check Exhibitions for more information or contact Mx. Sol Mason at artmuseum@cau.edu.
Are visitors permitted to sketch in the Museum?
Yes, sketching in the Museum is allowed so long as the sketch is in pencil.
Are visitors allowed to paint in the Museum?
No, painting in the museum is prohibited.
Is personal photography or videography permitted in the Museum?
Yes; however, flash photography and additional lighting equipment is prohibited in the Aspacio Atrium and Museum.
Is commercial photography or filming permitted at the Museum?
No, commercial photography or filming is not permitted at the Museum.
