The Whitney M. Young, Jr., School of Social Work offers three degrees programs: Baccalaureate of Social Work degree (BSW), Master of Social Work degree (MSW), and the Doctor of Philosophy degree in social work Ph.D. The Council on Social Work Education accredits the bachelor of social work and the master of social work programs, and the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools accredits all programs at the University.
