The totality of an applicant’s file is evaluated before a final decision is rendered. CAU School of Business Administration seeks the most promising student in terms of intellectual vitality, demonstrated leadership skills, potential and personal qualities and contributions for the MBA for Working Professionals Degree program. Interested applicants must have 3-5 years of work experience. An applicant may apply for the fall semester.

Application- The application to Clark Atlanta University provides a variety of information that will help us evaluate your qualifications. An applicant may apply online or use the paper application.
Transcripts- Candidates must have the equivalent of a U.S. bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution.
GMAT or GRE- We accept GMAT or GRE. GMAT/GRE waiver available to qualified applicants – Please send official score report directly to CAU. NOTE: CAU/CAU School of Business’ GMAT code is 5110 and GRE code is 5110
However, in exceptional cases, the GMAT/GRE waiver may be granted. If you have not taken the GMAT or GRE and wish to be considered for a test waiver submit an appeal for a GMAT/GRE waiver with your application for admissions. A submitted application and degree transcripts are required for test waiver review.
Factors that may waive the GMAT or GRE but not limited to include:
Applicants may be considered for a GMAT waiver or GRE waiver based on other qualifications, such as having already earned a previous graduate degree from a regionally accredited institution, demonstrated prior academic achievement combined with career experience or have at least 5 years of full-time professional experience that may include the responsibility of managing others, managing a budget or experience in information technology or data analysis.

Language Proficiency- Applicants whose native language is not English must take the Test of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL) or IELTS to demonstrate a satisfactory level of proficiency in the English language.
Essays- Applicants must submit three essays. Each essay should be limited to 500 words each.
Essay 1: Career objectives- Your resume and recommendations give us a clear sense of your professional path and there is no need to include in the career objectives essay. Please answer the following question. What are your career goals over the next 3-5 years and what is your long-term dream job?
Essay 2: Why CAU? - Let us know how earning your MBA from CAU will empower you to recognize/reach your goals. Explain your decision to pursue graduate education and explain the opportunities CAU provides.
Essay 3: Please provide an example of a team failure of which you have been a part of, If given a second chance, what would you have done differently?
Recommendation letter 1: This letter should come from your current direct supervisor (or next best alternative) at work
Recommendation letter 2: This letter is someone else who has supervised your work or from your college professor
Recommendation letter 3-This reference may come from someone in a professional or community organizations, or extracurricular experiences.

All letters of recommendation must be submitted by the deadline of the round in which you apply. You must not write, or have any involvement in, the drafting, translation, or submission of the letters.
Business Resume’- A resume’ is required. This is your standard business resume or CV. You do not need to have it any special; format.
CAU reviews application on a rolling basis. The deadlines below are intended to serve as benchmarks. Due to our rolling admissions process, we encourage you to apply as early as possible.
