Mandela Washington Fellowship
The goals of the Washington Fellowship for Young African Leaders are to build and sustain a prestigious network of young leaders across critical sectors and cement stronger ties between Africa and the United States. The Mandela Washington Fellowship program for Young African Leaders represents the extraordinary promise of an emerging generation of entrepreneurs, activists, and public officials. Upon returning to their home countries, the Fellows have access to professional development opportunities, mentoring, networking and training, and seed funding to support their ideas, businesses, and organizations.
Clark Atlanta University is among the 20 institutions of higher education selected competitively to implement the Mandela Washington Fellowship. It is one of seven institutions chosen to focus and implement the Leadership in Business component for fellows during their six-week visit. CAU School of Business is the only private HBCU hosting this unique and prestigious program in Leadership in Business.
