Clark Atlanta University’s Office of Student Leadership and Engagement to Host its Annual ‘Tis the Season Activities

Atlanta, GA – November 28, 2022 – Clark Atlanta University students are excited about being Holiday helpers as CAU prepares to host its Annual Tis the Season and Fa-La-La-lidays Celebration. 

Celebration activities kicked off today, November 28, 2022, with the Winter Snowcase in Davage Auditorium and will continue tomorrow with the Annual Clark Atlanta University Lighting of the Christmas Tree Ceremony Tuesday, November 29, 2022, at 6:00 p.m. Join us as we celebrate the true reason for the season – Giving.

Tis the Season is CAU’s annual Holiday initiative, sponsored by our students and coordinated to give back to the local community. It also helps spread holiday cheer throughout the CAU student body.  The celebration consists of interactive, exciting, and spirit-filled events that help to fulfill the celebration’s purpose.  Students and community members alike will have the opportunity to experience events such as:

  • Annual Clark Atlanta University Tree Lighting Ceremony

Henderson Student Center Promenade

  • Poetry Jam – Tuesday, November29, 2022, at 7:00 p.m., Baranco Multipurpose Room in the Henderson Student Center 
  • Movie Night-November 30, 2022, at 7:00 pm,Baranco Multipurpose Room of the Henderson Student Center 

Among all the events, the biggest highlight of the entire experience is our annual ‘Tis the Season Program, to be held on Friday, December 2, 2022, at 11:00 a.m., in the Baranco Multipurpose Room of the Henderson Student Center. We have invited elementary school youth on our campus for a holiday party filled with activities, food, entertainment, and gifts.  If you want to donate toys for girls or boys ages 5-10, you can drop them off on November 28, 2022, and December 1, 2022, in the Henderson Student Center, Suite 245.  Please see the link to the right if you want to make a monetary donation.
