Atlanta, GA (March 13, 2020) – Jazz 91.9 WCLK has decided to suspend its Spring Membership Drive beginning immediately due to the COVID-19 Coronavirus outbreak and fears of it spreading. We want to be particularly sensitive to the needs of our community right now. We know that this is an unprecedented time in our lives and therefore, we cannot conduct business as usual.
Instead we will concentrate our time on bringing you timely information on any updates that concern the spread of COVID-19. As Atlanta’s Jazz Station, we will continue to provide the musical escape that is so important and vital right now.
For the remainder of the membership drive pledge dates, listeners will be able to tune into Jazz 91.9 for the music release listeners love and expect. Jazz 91.9 WCLK extends a special thank you to drive volunteers, staff and listeners for unyielding support as we adapt to this new way forward. When the threat of the Coronavirus spread is over, WCLK will bring listeners more information about a rescheduled drive, later. Individuals are invited to go online to WCLK.com and make a pledge to Jazz 91.9, safely and securely from anywhere in the world.
