Clark Atlanta University Offers Opportunities for Former Students of Argosy University

ATLANTA, GA – March 25, 2019 -- In response to the recent closing of Argosy University in the Metropolitan Atlanta area, Clark Atlanta University (CAU) is prepared to assist Argosy University students impacted by this situation. Clark Atlanta University is a comprehensive, private, urban, coeducational university offering undergraduate, graduate, and professional degrees as well as certificate programs. Clark Atlanta University is accredited by the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools Commission on Colleges (SACSCOC) to award baccalaureate, masters, specialist, and doctorate degrees. In addition to Institutional Accreditation, some of the academic schools and programs at CAU are accredited by discipline-specific accreditation agencies and associations.  CAU has the responsibility to ensure it is following the appropriate accreditation standards and guidelines.

Transfer equivalencies for any student must be considered on a case-by-case basis. To streamline the admissions process, interested students should complete an online Argosy student contact form, which will allow the University to provide the appropriate student support services.

CAU is interested in helping former Argosy University students to continue their academic pursuits to the extent possible, offering the following incentives to assist with the transition:

  • Application fee waivers through June 30, 2019
  • Waive summer term fees for students enrolled full time
  • Students enrolling in three courses (9 credit hours) during summer 2019 will receive one of the three courses free of charge (3 credit hours)
