Clark Atlanta University Joins FICO Community Partners to Host Free Consumer Financial Education and Empowerment Event in Atlanta

FICO Partnering with Operation HOPE, Urban League of Greater Atlanta, 100 Black Men of America (Atlanta), Clark Atlanta University, and National Consumers League for "Score A Better Future"

ATLANTA, GA -- December 6, 2018 – Clark Atlanta University will join leading analytics software firm FICO (NYSE:FICO), along with FICO community partners Operation HOPE, 100 Black Men of America, and National Consumers League, to host a free consumer financial education event in Atlanta on December 8, 2018. 

The Atlanta date is part of FICO’s "Score A Better Future" event series which focuses on helping consumers improve their understanding of their credit and overall financial health. Consumers will learn from credit experts the key ingrediants that make up the FICO® Score, and the myths and facts about FICO Scores. The FICO Score is used in more than 90 percent of lending decisions (Mercator Advisory Group Analyst Report 2018).

Local financial well-being coaches from Operation HOPE will be at the event to provide one-on-one credit counseling and help attendees develop a plan to address their financial goals.

The Score a Better Future event will take place Saturday, December 8, 2018 from 10:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m. EST, at Terminus 330, 330 Marietta St NW, Atlanta, GA. (Parking vouchers for the adjacent lot will be available)
