CAU Day at the Capitol is an annual event that brings together Clark Atlanta University students, alumni, faculty, staff and administration with the goal of advocating for CAU to our Georgia State Legislators. CAU Day at the Capitol is one of CAU’s newest traditions during the legislative session, and is celebrated in the State Capitol.
CAU Day at the Capitol includes a photo and proclamation with Governor Kemp, 83rd Governor of Georgia, Observations and reading of the resolution in the House and Senate and much more!
The following is a day of event timeline: Changes will be conveyed as we get closer to event day:
- Transportation to and from the Capitol will be provided by Institutional Advancement and University Relations. Pick up will be located on the side of the student center.
- Display table viewing begins at 9:00 a.m. - South Wing Steps of the Capitol
- Event ends promptly at Noon.
- Dress code is CAU Business Professional

- Please ENSURE YOU HAVE YOU DRIVER'S LICENSE OR ID’s to gain access into the Capitol
