Purchasing - Mission Statement


The Purchasing Department’s mission is to continually identify and incorporate innovative purchasing practices, and provide services that add value and continuously improve the support for quality education, research, and services in a cost-effective and timely manner. The department is committed to the accomplishment of this mission, while acting responsibly to protect the vital business interest of the University, and remaining open, competitive, and fair in our business practices.
