Students who applied using the Common App or the Common Black College Application will be able to check their up to date application status via the Future Panther Portal.

Students who used The Clark Atlanta Application should check the overview page by logging into their application account and making sure that all required documents are submitted. They should also check their email for application status updates and contact admissions@cau.edu with any questions after verifying that required components are submitted.

During rolling admissions, students can typically expect a decision via email within two weeks of receiving their complete notification email. Decisions are emailed weekly on Fridays. A physical decision letter is mailed the following week. 
 
You are automatically considered for merit scholarships once you are admitted to the University. There is no separate application for merit awards.
 
It would be helpful to begin working on your financial aid application by submitting the FAFSA to CAU. You can also apply for external scholarships like the United Negro College Fund.
