The LEAD Week Conference is the largest affair the School of Business hosts which brings students, faculty, alumni and invited professionals together to participate in inspiring programming, networking and recruiting sessions. Our goal is to provide students with key skill sets that further empower them in the business arena.
This year the conference will begin with a breakfast on Tuesday, Feb. 17 and culminates with an awards luncheon on Thursday, Feb. 19. This annual talent development event gives alumni and sponsors an opportunity to commit to our processes by pledging their financial support to undergraduate and graduate students in the School of Business Administration. Awards are presented in celebration of student achievement and academic success, allowing sponsors the opportunity to see firsthand the caliber of future talent that their time, effort and financial contributions support. We also use this opportunity to recognize faculty who demonstrate excellence in teaching and to express our appreciation to our corporate partners who support us. Finally, we will recognize our corporate sponsors who do so much to facilitate the educational experience.
The conference brings a diversity of speakers to campus to discuss trends across industries, life and career issues. In previous years, distinguished speakers and sponsors have included Regions Bank, Chick-Fil-A, Wal-Mart, Turner Broadcasting, ADP, Union Pacific, Verizon, Chevron, PNC Bank, MetLife and HJ Russell & Company.
