Rajul Gokarn is a tenured associate professor at Clark Atlanta University, Atlanta, Georgia. She has previously taught at Georgia State University, California State University at Los Angeles and West Georgia University. Her educational qualifications include a Ph.D. in Business Administration (Major: Accounting, 1984), a Masters degree in Professional Accounting (1982), and an MBA (Major: Marketing, 1978) all from Georgia State University, Atlanta. She received her undergraduate degree (B. Com.) in Advanced Accounting and Auditing from Sydenham College (under Bombay University) in India. Professor Gokarn’s research interests include: international accounting, ethics in accounting and the status of women in the accounting profession. Her scholarly accomplishments include journal articles and numerous presentations in regional, national and international conferences.
