WHAT:           Will stage a “Hands Across CAU” event to “mobilize CAU for the future,” celebrate homecoming and promote campus safety

WHEN:           Friday, Oct. 23, at 2 p.m.

WHERE:         The promenade in front of the Bishop Cornelius L. Henderson Student Center, 223 James P. Brawley Drive, S.W., Atlanta 30314

WHY:             Organized by CAU’s Campus Activities Board, the event will call for a linking of hands to demonstrate commitment and unity.  It is patterned after “Hands Across America,” where on May 25, 1986, more than 6 million Americans made a human chain to raise money and draw attention to homelessness and hunger and became one of the largest charity events in recent history.
