Friday, April 22, 2016 (Summit) -  Saturday, April 23, 2016 (Student Hackathon) 

Clark Atlanta University President Ronald A. Johnson hosts local, regional and national leaders, university students and community leaders at an inaugural CAU Economic Inclusion & Competitiveness Summit 2016.  The summit is focused on issues associated with development of economic inclusion and competitiveness strategies and frameworks (empowering underrepresented populations to compete in the innovation economy). The following day (Saturday, April 23) is an interactive hackathon (college & high school students) and pitch competition with student-led ventures.  The Summit is free and open to the public. Register now (limited seating).

The two-day event is comprised of select keynotes, panels and presentations. The summit is focused on issues associated with development of economic inclusion and competitiveness strategies and frameworks. The hackathon will comprise a "shark tank" student-driven competition of innovative ideas.
