            Memorial Honors Legacy of Former Faculty Member Josephine Bradley, Ph.D.

Please plan to attend a celebration of life for Dr. Josephine B. Bradley who passed away on Tuesday, September 15, 2015, at her home in Atlanta. Dr. Bradley was the first African American student to integrate Greensboro Senior High, North Carolina, (now Grimsley) in 1957.  For nearly two decades until her passing, she was a professor and former department chair of African American Studies, Africana Women's Studies & History, a department of the School of Arts and Sciences she helped establish.  Please RSVP to ccombs@cau.edu for a special evening of amazing small plates, art and fellowship CAU Art Galleries, Sunday, March 6- 4:30 p.m., program; 5:45 p.m. gallery tour.
