Enrollment Services and Student Affairs (ESSA) Mission

The Division of Enrollment Services and Student Affairs (ESSA), as a unit of Clark Atlanta University, assists the University in identifying, recruiting, retaining and graduating a scholarly body of students whose characteristics increasingly mirror the academic rigor of our institution. ESSA also serves as the vehicle through which students will experience an undergraduate career that develops graduates into socially and economically astute world citizens.

The unit consists of several departments:

• Office of Admissions,
• University Registrar,
• Office of Student Financial Aid,
• Office of Student Affairs,
• Office of Residence Life, and
• the offices for Counseling, Health, and Spiritual Wellness.

Each component provides a broad range of services designed to further the educational and personal development of students.
