Renee McCoy is a Lecturer in the Accounting Department where she teaches Principles of Accounting I, Principles of Accounting II, Accounting for Non-Business Majors, and Accounting Information Systems. Mrs. McCoy is currently the faculty advisor for the National Association of Black Accountants, Clark Atlanta University (CAU) chapter.
Mrs. McCoy earned an M.B.A. with a concentration in Decision Science/ Information Systems from CAU and a B.S. in Accounting with a minor in Mathematics from Hampton University, Hampton, Virginia.
Mrs. McCoy has over 15 years of corporate professional experience. She has experience in the banking, telecommunications and media, and public sector industries. Mrs. McCoy was a Senior Fund Accountant for JP Morgan, Senior Fund Accountant for Enterprise Capital Management, Project Manager and IT Strategy Consultant for IBM.
A 1998 graduate of Clark Atlanta University, Mrs. McCoy is married to Mr. Marcus McCoy (CAU, 1991) and they have two sons.
