The Creative Writing minor is an eighteen credit minor. Students have nine courses from which to choose among four different genres of writing: fiction, poetry, drama and creative nonfiction. Creative Writing students may submit their creative works to CAU’s literary magazine, The CAU Review, as well as edit and solicit works for the magazine. Students in the creative writing program also have the opportunity to organize and participate in the university’s annual Writers’ Conference.
