Clark Atlanta University Cheerleaders

The Clark Atlanta University Cheerleaders have established a long and impressive tradition of excellence in cheerleading by combining all the essential elements of cheering, including athleticism, dance skills, and dedication.

In addition to competing in different competitions, the CAU Cheerleaders (All-Girl), cheer at all CAU football and basketball games, pep rallies, campus activities where requested, community-agency events and other special events as requested. We conduct several cheer camps as well as performances for local recreation centers, elementary, middle and high schools as well as churches.

The CAU Cheerleaders have participated in several NCA Camps held in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina, where we have received bids to compete in the NCA Nationals in Daytona Beach, Florida. We have appeared on such local stations as FOX 5 Atlanta, and WSB-TV on "People to People." We also conducted a clinic for about 1000 cheerleaders during the 2000 Super Bowl held here in Atlanta.

Requirements: jumps, dance, placement/motions, tumbling, and stunting.
