Study Abroad Process
All Clark Atlanta University
students who desire to study abroad must undergo an internal
review and be cleared by the Study Abroad Office. The Director
of Study Abroad is the only person on campus authorized to register
a student for Study Abroad. Students will never be able to register
themselves for Study Abroad through the Banner System, therefore,
please follow the process outlined below:
I. Student must submit the
following to the Study Abroad Office (SAO) in order to initiate
the internal review process:

- Two academic recommendations
- A current unofficial transcript
(can be obtained from Bannerweb)

(one for records and one for public relations)

Once all information has been submitted and reviewed, the student
is informed as to whether he/she has satisfactorily met all of
the criteria to study abroada 2.5 GPA or better, and in
good social standing at CAU. Successful candidates are given
authorization to begin the search for a program. This is done
in concert with the Study Abroad advisor to ensure that students
are considering programs that will provide courses for which
they will receive academic credit at CAU.
