Peer Education
H-PEERS program is the peer-to-peer education unit of Student Health Services. Peer health educators are a trained group of students who raise awareness, provide education, and are a resource to other students on a variety of health issues. H-PEERS outreach program is designed to meet the health education needs of the CAU community.
Requirements for Acceptance
Students wishing to participate in the H-PEER program must meet the following criteria:
- Maintain a GPA of 2.5 (cumulative) or better

- Serve a maximum of 4 hours a week
|
- Complete the H-PEER application
|
- Submit a written essay detailing why you would like to join the program
|
- Submit a letter of recommendation from a faculty and staff member
|
- Interview with the H-PEERS advisor
|
Students should possess a genuine desire to make a difference in the lives of others and possess good written and verbal skills.
