Admission Requirements
- A minimum undergraduate grade point average (GPA) of 2.6;
- A minimum combined score of 650 on the verbal and quantitative sections of the Graduate Record Examination (GRE), if taken prior to August 1, 2011; or
- A minimum of 138 if taken after August 1, 2011; and
- Submission of a resume, a letter of intent (state your career goals, letter of intent will be used as a writing sample), 3 letters of recommendations and an official transcript of all undergraduate and graduate courses taken.
Degree Requirements
- Minimum of 51 semester credit hours, including 100 clock hours of practicum and 600 hours of internship experience in a school setting or community setting;
- Grade of B or better in all courses;
- Minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0;
- Satisfactory completion of the Communication Skills requirement; and
- Satisfactory completion of Comprehensive Examination.
Credit Hour Requirements
M.A. Degree: Completion of a minimum of fifty-one (51) credit hours of course work.
