Welcome to CAU Residence Life and Housing.  We are very excited that you will be joining the CAU family.

Living on campus affords you many opportunities to learn more about yourself and others.  You will have opportunities to participate in campus life through events, activities, clubs and organizations and have access to campus resources like counseling, health services and tutoring.

At CAU, we do not have Dormitories; we have Residence Halls!

Why Residence Hall and not dorm? Dorm comes from the Latin word "dormus" which means "to sleep."We want our students to get more than that out of the campus living experience.

We believe that a Residence Hall is a community and a place where one can "Live, Learn, and Lead."

Our trained Residence Life Staff offers you information, advice and support. They help develop an atmosphere of community living to help students in their academic and personal growth.

They also plan residential activities that are fun and enlightening, and will help residents become more well-rounded.

At Clark Atlanta University, Residence Hall means a total campus living experience.

The next time you hear the word "dorm," remember that our students will get much more than that with CAU!

We take applications for on campus housing during registration.  Click “Learn How” if you are a first time user of the portal.  Click “Apply Now” if you are ready to begin your application.
