ABOUT US

The Office of Graduate Studies developed the Graduate Resource Center (GRC) as part of the Graduate Technology and Academic Support Program, (GTASP), initiative supported by Title III. The GRC is designed to create an environment that supports student learning and the integration of technology.

It serves as a centralized location providing programs and services specifically tailored to the needs of graduate students including, academic and professional development workshops/seminars, writing assistance for students working on theses, dissertations, conceptual papers and those needing general assistance through our Graduate Writing Center, drop-in advice and assistance, and Career Advisement. The GRC provides a meeting place for students to relax, interact with other graduate students, plan events, share ideas, network and develop friendly relationships outside their academic units.

The Graduate Resource Center also serves as a referral center in an effort to connect students to the university and other community resources. In addition to these services, the center houses a Graduate Student Computer Lab, a Graduate Reading Lounge, and a Resource Library containing literature to assist graduate student with their writing, research, and other academic needs. The GRC is opened to all registered Graduate and Professional students.

The Center is located on the first floor of Kresge Hall (formally the Office of Graduate Studies), and is open Monday – Friday 9:00 am – 10:00 pm.
