John W. Daniels, Jr. Inducted into the Law Hall of Fame
ATLANTA (March 26, 2009) -- Clark Atlanta
University announced today that Board of Trustee member John W. Daniels, Jr., was
recently inducted into the Law Hall of Fame in Los Angeles, California during a
meeting of the National Black Law Students Association.
Daniels, a graduate of The Harvard Law School, was
honored for his remarkable legal achievements, which have opened doors for
other diverse legal professionals.
Daniels is a partner in and chairman of Quarles
& Brady LLP, and is the first African American in the United States to
chair an AmLaw 200 firm.
He was recently selected as one of the 50 most
influential lawyers in the United States as part of the National Law Journal’s survey of leading minority attorneys.
Daniels has been a member of Clark Atlanta
University’s Board of Trustees since 2007.
