A Message from the Vice President
Dear CAU Family and Friends:
This year as we celebrate the 20th Anniversary of Clark Atlanta University (CAU), we are reminded that this University is built on the legacies of our historic parent institutions - Atlanta University and Clark College. From those histories, we are preparing a new generation of students to be well educated and prepared to meet the challenges that life has to offer. We cannot provide that high-quality learning environment without the financial support of alumni and friends. The support of the CAU family makes a difference in the programs, services and activities the University can fund for our students.
The 2008-2009 academic year marks a time of excitement and transition for the University - on August 1, 2008, we are welcoming Dr. Carlton E. Brown as our new president. Dr. Brown has made it clear that one of the priorities of his administration will be re-engaging our alumni and friends to share the great things Clark Atlanta University has to offer. CAU is a solid investment, one about which you can be excited and of which you can be very proud.
CAU is moving toward its twentieth year with great confidence and enthusiasm. We invite you to take every opportunity to visit the campus, volunteer on a project, talk to our faculty, staff and students and prepare yourself for a wonderful treat.
Go, Panthers!
Aristide J. Collins, Jr., Vice President for Institutional Advancement and University Relations
