Clark Atlanta University is about to make history as she prepares to celebrate 25 years as a consolidated institution! Like never before, the CAU community is joining forces to fulfill the mission of our university in an unprecedented way. Campaign 25 for CAU is a two-week fundraising campaign that supports the current and future needs of Clark Atlanta University. The campaign runs October 1 through October 15 and seeks to secure $25 gifts from 2500 supporters of the university. The funds raised will help deserving students afford the costs of books and other school-related expenses. They need our help now more than ever. By contributing $25 you can make a difference in the lives of young men and women who are poised to make a difference in the world.
We celebrate our 25th anniversary, by launching “25 for CAU” during our 2012 homecoming festivities. Gifts received starting October 1 through October 15 will be eligible and counted as a part of this effort.
CAU is about to turn 25 and this aggressive campaign will support student success, increase our donor participation rate and will also launch our anniversary celebration. We want 2500 supporters to make a gift of $25; less than the cost of dinner for 2!
GIFT LEVELS AND BENEFITS
All gifts, club levels and challenge champions will be recognized in the donor honor roll call. Also, if you follow the two easy steps listed below you will be asked to join “The 25 Club” as an added benefit to making an investment in your CAU.
Steps to Receive an Invitation into “The 25 Club”:
1.Text, mail, or make a secure gift of $25 online.
2.Secure gifts of $25 from 25 individuals and become a member of The 25 Club. Be sure that the donor’s name is included with each gift in order to measure eligibility for club invitation.
Goal Markers and Giving Levels:
Chart the course to The 25 Club by joining these teams. The more you arise, the more you win!
1. White Team – Secure or give 5 x $25 ($125) = campaign pen
2. Gray Team – Secure or give 10 x $25 ($250) = mug
3. Black Team – Secure or give 15 x $25 ($375) = t-shirt
4. Red Team – Secure of give 20 x $25 ($500) = notebook and matching pen set
5. The 25 Club – Secure or give 25 x $25 ($625) = invitation into The 25 Club and lapel
6. Get a business to make a $2500 gift = plaque

VOLUNTEER WITH YOUR GROUP
You can support Campaign 25 for CAU with individuals in your stakeholder group! Any individual or group securing 25 gifts of $25 will be invited into The 25 Club and see below how your group can ramp up their support and become a Challenge Champion!
CLASS Champion – Classes with 25 members to make gifts of $25 are invited into The 25 Club. Classes compete by having the most participants. The class with the most members to give $25 will be named the CLASS Champion.
COMPANY Champion – Get a business involved to make a minimum gift of $2500 towards the campaign and be invited to join The 25 Club.
CUB Champion – Students can join the CUB 25 CLUB by making a gift of $25 to their class. The class with highest number of participants will be named the CUB Champion.
PANTHER Champion – Employees compete in one of two categories; collegiate or administrative. Individual departments that reach 100% participation are invited into The 25 Club and will be named the PANTHER Champion. Individual ambassadors with the largest number of secured gifts from colleagues are also invited into The 25 Club.
PARENT Champion – Parents who secure gifts of $25 from 25 individuals are invited into The 25 Club. The parent with the most participants will be named the PARENT Champion.
CHAPTER Champion – Chapters that secure gifts of $25 from 25 individuals are invited into The 25 Club. Chapters compete by having the most participants. The chapter with the most members to give $25 will be named the CHAPTER Champion.
CHURCH Champion – Participating churches that secure gifts of $25 from 25 individuals are invited into The 25 Club. The church with the most participants will be named the CHURCH Champion.
CIVIC/ORGANIZATION Affiliations – Organizations and affinity groups that secure gifts of $25 from 25 individuals are invited into The 25 Club. The group with the most participants will be named the CIVIC Champion.
