Salvador Diaz-Verson, Jr.
Serving as one of CAU’s veteran trustees is only one of the many business and civic endeavors to which Salvador Diaz-Verson, Jr. passionately commits his interest and involvement. Diaz-Verson currently serves as the chairman and president of Diaz-Verson Capital Investments. He is the former president & CIO of the American Family and Executive Vice President and CIO of AFLAC (American Family Life Assurance Company). Aflac's insurance products provide protection to more than 40 million people worldwide and the company has been included in Fortune magazine's listing of America's Most Admired Companies for six consecutive years and listed as one of the Top 50 Employers for Minorities for the past two years. He proudly serves on the National Black College Alumni Hall of Fame, Boys & Girls Club of America National Board of Directors, the Christopher Columbus Fellowship Foundation Board of Trustees, St. Francis Hospital Board of Trustees, along with the American Cancer Society and the United Way. The Florida State University alum is a trustee on that university’s foundation.
