Gregory B. Morrison
Gregory B. Morrison is no stranger to HBCUs. This South Carolina State University graduate is senior vice president and chief information officer for Cox Enterprises, Inc., one of the nation’s leading media companies and providers of automotive services. He is responsible for technology planning for all corporate headquarters operations. He previously served as vice president of information systems at Prudential Financial, Inc. Prior to joining Prudential, Morrison served as an officer in the United States Army Signal Corps for seven years. In addition to serving on the CAU board of trustees, Morrison is also on the board of directors for both TechBridge and the Georgia CIO Leadership Association. He was recently named one of the top 50 Most Important Blacks in Technology by U.S. Black Engineer (USBE) magazine in 2005. He also holds a master’s degree in science from Northwestern University.
