First 7-on-7 Football High School Passing Tournament
Set For July 16-17 at Clark Atlanta’s Panther Stadium
CAU Provides Football Camp Experience for Schools Needing Funding
ATLANTA (July 13, 2010) – Clark Atlanta University’s (CAU) football program will hold its first 7-on-7 high school passing tournament this Friday and Saturday (July 16-17) at Panther Stadium.
Created to assist local high school teams that don’t have the necessary funding to travel and participate in individual and team camps, the tournament is aims to give high school student-athletes the opportunity to work on their individual football skills, while gaining experience playing on a college football field.
“Ultimately, we want to provide a platform for schools lacking funding for travel and team camps to showcase their team skills,” said Assistant Head Coach Rodrick Robinson. “The tournament is also a way for CAU to build relationships with local high school coaches and create a platform for training.”
Registration is $150 per team, which includes lunch and a trophy for the tournament winner.

1:00pm-8:00pm Pool Play Competition Begins (Football Stadium)
