Join Clark Atlanta University President Ronald A. Johnson and special guests in a free and open discussion on the burning topics shaping our World.

This event is part of the 30th Anniversary celebrating the historic consolidation of Atlanta University (1865) and Clark College (1869) to form Clark Atlanta University (CAU), a global institution of higher learning in Atlanta, Georgia.

Clark Atlanta University (CAU), a global institution of higher learning, is celebrating the 30th Anniversary of its formation via the groundbreaking consolidation of Atlanta University(1865) and Clark College (1869). Among the many activities planned to mark this historic milestone will be CAU NATION: National City Tours

CAU NATION is a multicity event hosted by Alumni, Board of Trustees, local high profile Influencers and Friends of CAU in targeted cities across the country. Each stop on the tour celebrates CAU’s 30th Anniversary while raising funds for the President’s Student Scholarship Fund.

The fund enables Clark Atlanta University to Lift Every Voice and Ignite New Possibilities by providing support for prospective students.

MARTHA’S VINEYARD

African American residents and visitors have long been a significant force in the island’s philanthropic, technological, hospitality, and art communities, making Martha's Vineyard the largest Black resort in the U.S. Given its historical significance, Martha’s Vineyard will be the first stop of the CAU NATION Tour on August 12, 2018.

The following activities will take place during the tour:

THE CAU FORWARD FORUM

  • Developed in the tradition of Atlanta University's historic public forums organized by W. E. B. Du Bois (1896 to 1914), the CAU Forward Forum is an intimate and open discussion with some of the leading voices that are helping to shape our world in business, culture, politics and more. The Forward Forum will be held at the island’s historic Union Chapel and will feature three (3) panelists and a special guest moderator. FREE TO THE PUBLIC.
