The Panther newspaper brought home eight awards at the 66th Annual Souther Regional Press Institute Awards, including three first place and five second place trophies. The Panther earned top honors for Outstanding Editorial and Column Writing, Best Photography and Best Video Production. Congrats to The Panther staff and advisers.
Clark Atlanta men's basketball claimed the fifth SIAC title in the 16th finals appearance with a 64-62 victory over Fort Valley State. Chuka Eneh was good on a 3-pointer in the final seconds for the win. CAU was selected as the No. 8 seed in the NCAA South Region and will play the host UAH (24-7).
